2. IVV-Walking Olympiad

at Schömberg / Blackforest

The 2. Olympiad of the International Volkssports Association (IVV) takes place from 13 to 15 September 1991 in Schoemberg/Schwarzwald.

Schoemberg (6900 inhabitants) is an all-season health resort descripted by the state as "welfare-climatic health resort and
Kneipp health resort" and is situated in the northern part of the black forest on sunny, wooded height between 450 and 730 m.

The increasing meaning of the active vacation and the spare time the health resort Schoemberg already promptly recognized. One calls it with connoisseurs "the family health resort with the sporty note" not in vain. 

The Schoemberger offer covers: Wave-bathe in the elevator wave indoor swimming pool north Black Forest, with one of longest, all year round to using water slides of Germany, walking on ways marked over 150 km by wonderful fir forests and on that 1. IVV Weitwanderweg Baden-Wuerttemberg over 120 km. Here one finds still genuine nature and absolute peace. To the further sport offer belong: Tennis, cycling, riding, mini gulf and cones. For the winter kept in track loipen, a floodlight ski slope and a nature sleigh track are offered.
